FPSO Project looking for his Safety Specialist.

• Assist the OIM in the management of safety on the installation through communication and training activities, active and reactive monitoring, and implementation of the PTW system.

• Carry out the FPSO safety induction program.

• Plan and arrange training and exercises for emergency response teams.

• Train and access new personnel in the Permit to Work (PTW) system.

• Maintain logs and records of all safety training and exercises.

• Carry out periodic inspections and functions tests of safety equipment , and monitor spares for such equipment, including: Lifeboats, life rafts and life buoys;Fire fighting equipment;Breathing apparatus;Portable gas measuring equipment.

• Implement the Safety Maintenance Program (BASS).

• Carry out monthly inspections with safety delegates and department heads.

• Carry out work site inspections on a daily basis, including monitoring of compliance with the PTW system.

• Arrange daily safety / PTW meetings and Safety assessment.

• Assist the OIM in safety related matters in day to day operations.

• Advise Management on regulations and safety requirements.

• Become a member of the FPSO safety committee.

• Participate with line management in:Investigation of accidents, incidents and near misses; Area inspection and monitoring of reports arising; Monitor implementation of the FPSO Waste Management Plan.

Requirements :

• Minimum 2 years offshore expérience.

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Safety Officer or equivalent.

• Previous experience as an offshore Safety Officer.

• Previous experience in administration of PTW systems.
