Reporting into the Site Technical Manager you will be expected to manage the technical support team to achieve process and cost improvements across site and ensuring the on-going success of the business, whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
Key responsibilites:
- Issue reports of results, technical specifications and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain and foster collaborative effort with Production, Maintenance/Reliability, Engineering, Technical and Quality teams
- Accountable for the efficient performance of the process in the plant.
- Provide coaching, and oversee the training and skills development of the team.
- Initiate and conduct technical investigations and innovations aimed at quality, cost, environmental and reliability improvements.
- Complete capital projects and expansion works on time and in budget.
As a professional Chemical Engineer you will be able to communicate ideas successfully and collaborate with clients and colleagues to achieve project delivery goals.
To be successful for the role you will have:
- Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in chemical processing or mineral separation is a MUST.
- At least 10 years experience in a similar chemical processing environment.
- High level experince in CI Principles – Six Sigma, TQM, LEAN.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
